The new me!

So, yesterday I did a yoga class. Today I did a pilates reformer class. And I am preparing to start teaching a new class- Muscle Conditioning. All of these additions feel great! If you have any goals that you are debating, go for them! I have and I am so happy that I did:) Now, off to dance class tonight (which is another new thing I haven't done in a while)!

It was a beautiful day on Sunday, so I ran 3.5 miles. Yesterday, I did cardio and weights inside. What to do today? I'm trying to be nice on my body and not always do the same things. I also have a goal to add more yoga and pilates into my workout schedule as I normally focus on cardio and weights. So, I tried gentle yoga this morning. It was VERY gentle, but I felt great afterwards and am so happy I did it! My back was stiff before class, and I have felt great all day! Maybe I should do it more often:) I am planning on doing a pilates reformer class tomorrow in addition to my dance class. Wish me luck!

Billy Blanks

I worked out with Billy Blanks last night! There were only 30-40 of us in a dance studio. He put us through an hour workout and then chatted with us about fitness and motivation. The workout went super fast since I was having fun and I was pushed by having people I know around me. Surpisingly, I'm not that sore today. I can't tell if my minor soreness is from a TRX workout 2 days ago or from Tae Bo last night. Either way, it's a good sore!
